Dr. Daryl P. Guest is the Founder of Golden Triangle Vein Center in Starkville, MS. Recently he was selected as a Top General Surgeonby the International Association of Healthcare Professionals (IAHCP). He opened his General Surgery practice in Starkville in 2001, and he began treating vein disorders 8 years ago. A native of Hattiesburg, MS, Dr. Guest earned his undergraduate degree from Mississippi State University and his medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He trained in surgery at the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga. He underwent additional specialized training in the treatment of vein disorders at the Alabama Phlebology Training Institute under Dr. John Kingsley, an internationally acclaimed pioneer and teacher in the field of Phlebology. Dr. Guest is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the Southeastern Surgical Congress. He is also a member of The American College of Phlebology, the American Society of General Surgeons, the Mississippi State Medical Association, and is former president of Prairie Medical Society. Dr. Guest is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. In addition to his vein practice, he continues to perform endoscopy and other surgical procedures to include, but not limited to, hernia repairs, colon resections, gallbladder removal, and appendectomies.
